Turning Over A New Leaf

Fall has always signaled new beginning for many reasons- the start of a new school year and a fresh start. For many reasons this is the worst time to start a blog- my professional busy season when schedules are packed with interview season for new fellows and so many of my patients struggling with fall allergies and asthma flares in the Midwest.t;'/5
This is also the time of year when I look to setting goals for the upcoming year on planet earth and seek out ways to make a positive impact on this planet during the relatively speaking, short time I have.
So what is my purpose of this endeavor:
Discuss and share my knowledge of the prevention and treatment of allergies and autoimmunity through evidence-based but a naturally minded philosophy- granola without the nuts.
Share the ways our family is working on living our best life and the struggles that come along with that journey- a big part of our family culture is food and I love to cook! But with food allergies and intolerances and a busy schedule meal planning is crucial for us to say on track.
To build a community of others who are dealing with the same struggles. There is NO reason for each of us to keep re-inventing the wheel. Our time, energy and money are all precious resources. Let’s learn from one another!
